A first look at the Daniel Defense DD5 Ambush RTX

DD5 Ambush RTX 7.62/308

I had the opportunity to take a closer look at the Daniel Defense DD5 Ambush chambered in 7.62/308.   After spending some time with this I can see why its one of the hardest to find in stock.

Right out of the case you get the sense that this is a quality rifle… no rattles, comfortable to grip and outstanding to look at.  The fit and finish is what you would expect from Daniel Defense.  The barrel is CHF, uses DD’s Superior Suppression Device and features an incredible Realtree hydro-graphic pattern.  At 8.6 lbs it’s quite light for a 7.62 and is well balanced when holding.  The Magpul hardware and adjustable length ensure the right fit for just about any shooter.  Ensuring flawless operation the Ambush is fed with an optimized bolt carrier group with a new geometry and super-slick, low friction coating for reliable feeding.   The Geissele 2-stage trigger provides a smooth and clean action and lets you take advantage the all the great engineering that went into this rifle – making every shot!

Since you can get the full list of features and specifications online, I won’t list them all here.  But I will say if you’re in the market for a high quality 7.62/308, this is one to look at!  Checkout  MannoFirearms.com for more information on buying one!

I can’t wait to get this one pointed down range and on target!
